The August 27th episode of Mythbusters delivered a fairly sound beating to the conspiracy theory that we never landed on the moon, but rather filmed it all on a soundstage. They haven't updated their site yet, but once they do, I'll link to it.

You see, I love this country and democracy in general a great deal. But when Barack Obama talks about all the people he got to vote who weren’t voting before… I wonder what exactly we have gained by this. I could go to a nursing home and sign up a bunch of people with alzheimer’s. I could also go to freshman college classes and sign citizens up, but most people don’t really make good, strong decisions until they have life experience… which is why they’re voting for him.
